This will be our third and final meeting to discuss our big book of the year, War and Peace by Tolstoy. We hope you can join us in reading and discussing this classic piece of Russian literature.

This meeting wrapped up our summer schedule of three meetings to discuss War and Peace. So just about everything that could have been said about the book has been discussed, and we can now go on to our next book. Six people were in attendance.

Sharing the reading experience with a group of other readers has to be the best possible way to enjoy a big book like War and Peace. Everybody brings a different perspective to the book. A group that is willing to gather and discuss a big book like this tends to be a self selecting collection of interesting people filled with an abundance of ideas. I feel fortunate to have been part of it.
