About the Book:
The Book of Esther in the Hebrew Bible and Christian Old Testament tells the story of a young Hebrew woman who becomes queen of Persia and thwarts a genocide of her people. It is recommended to read a version that includes the additional six chapters (a.k.a. Additions A through F) that are interspersed in the Esther of the Septuagint an early Greek translation of the Bible. Esther with Additions A to F is at THIS LINK (scroll through chapters by clicking on < and > symbols).
